DID & Virtual Numbers

A local number in the market you're selling into changes whether the call is answered.

Is this you?

  • You sell into a market where your number marks you as foreign.
  • Answer rates on outbound into a market are poor and you do not know why.
  • You need a number in a country where you have no office.
  • Customers in another time zone have no sensible way to reach you.

If more than one of those is true, the problem is usually the system around the work rather than the people doing it.

What we provide

Direct inward dialling, virtual business numbers, and toll-free solutions in supported markets, provisioned against your business registration and routed wherever your team actually sits.

Routing and management

Numbers connect to IVR menus, department queues, forwarding rules and your CRM, so one number can serve a whole operation without a switchboard.

Why a local number changes the answer rate

People answer numbers they recognise. A local geographic number in the market you are selling into removes a reason not to pick up, and gives the customer a number they can call back without an international charge.

This is the cheapest improvement available to most international sales operations, and it is usually the one nobody has made.

What is available

  • Local geographic DID numbers in supported markets
  • National and non-geographic business numbers
  • Toll-free numbers where the market supports them
  • Virtual numbers that terminate wherever your team sits
  • Number blocks and ranges for teams and departments
  • Porting of numbers you already hold

Documentation differs by country, and it matters

Most jurisdictions require proof of business registration before issuing a number. Several require a verified address of record within the country, and some restrict certain ranges to entities with a local presence. These requirements are real, they vary, and they are the usual reason an order takes longer than expected.

We tell you the requirement per market before you order rather than after, so you can decide which markets are worth the paperwork.

Numbers are only useful once they are routed

A number on its own does nothing. Each one connects to your IVR, the right queue or team, out-of-hours handling, and your CRM, so a call to a number in one market reaches a person who knows the account in another.

How the work runs

01 — Market selection

Which countries, what number type, and what each one requires from you.

02 — Documentation

The registration and address evidence assembled before ordering, which is where delays happen.

03 — Provisioning

Numbers ordered and tested, or existing numbers ported.

04 — Routing

Connected to IVR, queues, forwarding rules and CRM.

05 — Verification

Test calls from inside each market, because a number that routes from your desk may not route from theirs.

What it costs

Per number per month plus inbound usage, varying considerably by country and number type. Toll-free numbers carry a higher inbound cost because you pay for the caller’s leg.

What moves the number

  • Country and number type — geographic, national, toll-free
  • How many numbers and whether a contiguous range is required
  • Expected inbound minutes
  • Whether local presence documentation already exists
  • Routing and IVR complexity behind the number
  • Porting fees where numbers are being moved

Every proposal is a fixed price against a written scope. We do not quote by the hour for work we have specified.

Common questions

Which markets are available?

United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Belgium at present, with further markets on request.

What documentation is required?

Most jurisdictions require proof of business registration, and some require a local address of record. We tell you the requirement per market before ordering.

Can numbers be resold to third parties?

No. Numbers are provisioned for your business use under our acceptable use terms. Resale and sub-assignment breach both those terms and, typically, the originating carrier's.

How long does provisioning take?

A few business days where documentation is already in order. Markets requiring a verified local address can take several weeks. We give you the realistic figure per market before you order.

Do we need a company registered in that country?

Usually not — proof of business registration somewhere plus an address of record is enough in most markets. Some restrict specific ranges to locally registered entities. We confirm per market and per number type.

Can we use these numbers for outbound caller ID?

Yes, where the number is assigned to you and the market permits it. That is verified business caller ID. Presenting a number that is not yours is spoofing, and we do not provide it.
