CRM Development

A CRM only works when using it is easier than not using it.

Is this you?

  • Pipeline lives in one person’s head, or in a spreadsheet they own.
  • You cannot answer how many leads came in last month without counting.
  • Leads go cold because nobody owned the follow-up.
  • Your CRM is where data goes to be forgotten, because nobody trusts it.

If more than one of those is true, the problem is usually the system around the work rather than the people doing it.

What we deliver

Implementation of an established CRM, or a custom one where your pipeline doesn’t fit a product’s assumptions. Either way: clean migration, a pipeline that matches how deals really move, and automation that removes admin instead of adding it.

Connected to everything else

We wire the CRM to your website forms, campaigns, calling system, invoicing and reporting, so a record is created once and stays current everywhere.

Why CRM projects fail

Almost never because the software was wrong. They fail because the system asked sales people to do admin that served reporting rather than selling, so they stopped, and within a quarter the data was fiction.

We design the other way round: the fields that exist are the fields someone uses, data arrives automatically wherever it can, and the system gives the sales person something back on the day they use it.

Configure, extend, or build

Three honest options. Configure an existing CRM properly — right for most businesses and the cheapest to run. Extend one with custom objects and integrations where your process is unusual in places. Build custom where your sales process is genuinely your competitive advantage and no product models it.

We will recommend configuration over building whenever it holds, which is most of the time.

Where the leads come from

  • Website forms, delivered server-side with validation and a logged fallback
  • WhatsApp, SMS and email conversations attached to the right record
  • Inbound and outbound calls logged against the contact automatically
  • Campaign source carried through to closed revenue, so spend is attributable
  • Imported lists, deduplicated and matched against what you already hold

ERP, where the CRM stops

When the question moves from who is buying to what it costs to deliver, the CRM is the wrong system. We implement and connect ERP for inventory, purchasing, finance, project costing and resourcing, and we join it to the CRM so a quote, an order and an invoice describe the same thing.

How the work runs

01 — Pipeline mapping

Your actual stages, with the exit criteria for each. Most of the value is here.

02 — Recommendation

Configure, extend or build, costed.

03 — Data

Existing records deduplicated, cleaned and imported, with a report on what was merged.

04 — Build

Pipeline, fields, permissions, automation, dashboards.

05 — Integration

Website, email, WhatsApp, calling, and accounting where relevant.

06 — Adoption

Training by role, then two weeks of real use with us available before handover.

What it costs

Configuration of an existing CRM is a matter of weeks. A custom CRM is a software project and is quoted as one. Data migration is the line most often underestimated — the price is set by the state of the data, not its volume.

What moves the number

  • Number of users and distinct roles
  • How many pipelines and how different they are
  • State of existing data and how many sources it comes from
  • Integrations — website, email, telephony, accounting, ERP
  • Automation and reporting depth
  • Licence cost of the underlying platform, which is yours and ongoing

Every proposal is a fixed price against a written scope. We do not quote by the hour for work we have specified.

Common questions

Build a CRM or configure an existing one?

Configure, in most cases. We build custom when the pipeline, permissions or integrations can't be represented in a product without heavy workarounds.

Can you import our current data?

Yes — including deduplication, field mapping, validation and a rollback plan.

Can calls be logged automatically?

Yes. With our telecom stack, inbound and outbound calls attach to the right record with recording and outcome where permitted by law.

Can you work with the CRM we already pay for?

Usually, and usually that is the right answer. Most CRMs that are not working are badly configured rather than wrong.

What happens to our existing data?

Exported, deduplicated, cleaned and imported, with a report of what was merged and what was rejected. You approve the merge rules before anything is written.

How do we get the team to actually use it?

Remove fields nobody reads, populate automatically wherever possible, train by role rather than by feature, and make sure the first thing it gives a sales person is useful to them. Adoption is a design problem, not a discipline problem.

Can the CRM place and log calls?

Yes. Click-to-dial, automatic logging against the contact, recording where lawful and configured. This is normally where a CRM starts repaying its cost.
